Emotional and psychological effects of the oil: attention should be paid to the sufficiently specific, characteristic scent of the oil. The oil has adaptogenic effects in cases of chronic fatigue, calming and harmonizing. It helps restore strength in cases of physical exhaustion and depression, providing energy.

Cosmetic effects of the oil: effective against many skin conditions such as boils, acne, scabies, fungal infections of the skin, nails, and mucous membranes, and herpes. The oil has soothing and healing properties. It also alleviates neurodermatitis and various allergy conditions. Recommended for normal, oily, and sensitive skin, as well as irritated, itchy skin. In combination with lavender oil, it can be used for skin care after sun exposure. Tea tree essential oil is suitable for hair care with dandruff and alopecia.

Therapeutic effects of the oil: due to its high terpene content, it has strong bactericidal, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties. Its antiseptic effect is 8 times stronger than carbolic acid and 12 times stronger than phenol. It effectively inhibits the growth of staphylococci, streptococci, gonococci, Escherichia coli, viruses, and fungi. The oil’s effectiveness is evident at concentrations from 0.1 to 1%. Tea tree essential oil combined with thyme, oregano, clay sage, and lavender oils is very effective against Staphylococcus aureus, which is usually resistant to many antibiotics. Tea tree oil stimulates the immune system by activating white blood cells. It is also an excellent urinary tract antiseptic, helping with cystitis. Tea tree oil can be effectively used for gingivitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, upper respiratory diseases, vaginitis, thrush, and similar problems. Tea tree oil has one of the broadest spectra of action. It also reduces skin itching, effectively fights parasites, and excellently repels insects and ticks.

Usage:

• In an aromatic lamp or diffuser: add 5-10 drops of essential oil to water for a 15 m2 room. Tea tree oil excellently purifies indoor air from microbes.

• Depending on the specific scent of tea tree oil, it can be combined with other essential oils, such as Japanese laurel.

• For bath treatments: add 5-7 drops of essential oil to 1 tablespoon of hydrophilic oil. For application on the skin, the amount of hydrophilic oil can be increased to 2 tablespoons. This bath is useful for skin problems. Hydrophilic tea tree oil can also be used in the shower. In this case, add up to 1% tea tree oil concentration to neutral hydrophilic oil.

• For therapeutic treatments: for topical use, add 10-15 drops of essential oil to 5 ml of carrier oil, preferably in a screw-cap bottle.

• For cosmetic body treatments (concentration 1-2%): 100 ml base oil with 1-2 ml tea tree oil. For face and body skin care, a concentration of 0.5-1% is sufficient.

Warning: people prone to allergies should perform a skin sensitivity test before using aromatherapy products. Do not use during pregnancy.
