Description
Peppermint is a perennial plant grown worldwide with a fresh, distinctive aroma. The main component of the essential oil is menthol, which cools nerve endings and reduces itching. Another component is eucalyptol. This essential oil is not suitable for use by young children.
Psychological and emotional effects of the oil: it affects the nervous system, helping to overcome apathy. The fresh peppermint aroma clears the mind, brings clarity to thoughts, improves concentration, and stimulates brain activity. It can help with shock in stressful situations.
Cosmetic effects of the oil: peppermint oil is widely used as a refreshing and disinfecting agent in oral care products because it freshens breath and reduces mucous membrane inflammation. It is added to cosmetics (0.5% concentration) mainly for problematic skin due to its cooling effect.
Therapeutic effects of the oil: helps with headaches, dizziness, nausea, motion sickness, digestive and gallbladder problems, vomiting, migraines, colds, flu, hay fever, heartburn, and joint pain.
Effective for some types of asthma. Positively affects heart function. Peppermint essential oil reduces fever and has bactericidal and antimicrobial properties. Repels insects.
Usage recommendations:
• For dressings and salad dressings, honey: 2 drops of essential oil per 100 ml of base.
• For room aromatization: 5-10 drops of essential oil per 15 m2 area.
• For aromatic salts: add 5 ml of sea salt to a container and add 3 drops of peppermint essential oil. Open and inhale as needed.
• For healing oil: add 15-30 drops of essential oil to 5 ml of base oil, preferably in a bottle with a screw cap and applicator.
• For local use: place 1-2 drops of oil in the center of the palm and inhale deeply. Can be applied to acupuncture points.
• For bath procedures: peppermint oil for baths should always be used only in a blend with other oils, and its concentration must not exceed 0.5%.
• For cosmetic and massage oil production: add 0.5-1 ml of peppermint essential oil to 100 ml of base oil (equivalent to 0.5-1% concentration).
• For mouth rinsing: add 2 ml of peppermint oil to 100 ml of base edible oil (sesame, almond).
Attention: people prone to allergies should perform a skin sensitivity test before using aromatherapy products. Do not use during the first 4 months of pregnancy, during lactation (suppresses milk production), or for young children.

Every morning before 9:00, I take a shower to wash away the impurities that the body has expelled through the skin overnight. Using this gentle fabric makes it a pleasure and brings a sense of well-being. Afterwards, there is a feeling of lightness and every cell breathes. It's great not to have to use soap. It’s also pleasant for the facial skin. No scrubs or other products are needed. A simple and quickly achievable effect.
As I say, this product is gold, both in the garden and at home! It handles unwanted pests on roses and also cleans furniture, grease, and children's fingerprints on other surfaces very well! And it's friendly to my pets :)
