Argan oil is one of the most valuable, expensive, and rare oils in the world. This oil is extracted from the fruit of the argan tree (Argania spinosa), also known as the iron tree, which grows on the African continent in Morocco. It is the only place on the planet where this tree grows for 150–300 years. Its fruits resemble yellow plums; the fruit pulp is bitter, and inside are three nuts with a very hard shell. In the hot and dry desert climate, the argan tree bears fruit once every two years.

Extracting argan oil is a very labor-intensive and meticulous process, done entirely by hand by women. From 100 kg of fresh fruit, about 60 kg of dry fruit is obtained, from which 30 kg of nuts are extracted, yielding 3 kg of seeds. From 3 kg of seeds, up to one liter of oil is produced. Thus, to obtain one liter of argan oil, the harvest from 6–7 trees must be collected.

The miraculous elixir’s composition:
Argan oil contains large amounts of vitamins E, A, C, oleic acid (Omega-9) (40-60%), and linoleic acid (Omega-6) (28-36%), ferulic acid, polyphenols, phytosterols, as well as a powerful natural antioxidant called squalene.

USAGE
A few drops of this high-quality product can be added to food (steamed or salads) at the end of the preparation process to give a special flavor.
The unique properties of argan oil are determined by its chemical composition, which contains up to 35% oligo-linoleic acids that the human body does not produce. These acids slow down cell aging and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The oil contains vitamin A and a large amount of vitamin E, is rich in natural antioxidants – polyphenols and tocopherols – which help remove toxins and waste products from the body. It has anti-inflammatory effects, protects the body from harmful free radicals, and helps lower cholesterol levels.

External use:

Thanks to the antioxidants in argan oil, it has a skin-renewing effect, making the skin more elastic, smoothing wrinkles, and improving facial skin tone;

• it is the best solution for combating dry skin, refreshing the skin and stopping peeling in a short time;
• excellent for sensitive skin care, helps reduce redness and inflammation, and relieves discomfort;
• ideal for both oily and dry skin;
• reduces scars and stretch marks;
• effectively treats skin inflammation after chickenpox, psoriasis, acne, and boils.

Face masks with argan oil:
* Face mask for dry skin with argan oil. Add 2 tablespoons of oat flour, 2 egg whites, and 30 grams of honey to one teaspoon of oil, mix until a uniform mass is obtained, apply to the face for 20 minutes. Rinse the mask off with warm water, then wash the face with cold water.
* Nourishing mask for oily skin. Whip an egg white, mix 3 tablespoons of the foam with one tablespoon of argan oil. Gently massage the cream onto the face. Leave the cream on the face for 15 minutes, then remove it with a warm water-moistened cloth.

Hair mask with argan oil:
Argan oil protects the scalp and hair from excessive dryness and delays aging. It has a unique ability to act on the cell membrane by moisturizing, nourishing, and restoring cells; the oil restores dry and damaged hair, softens it, gives it shine, reduces the effects of heat styling by 40%, and cares for the skin by reducing peeling and itching, healing damaged areas, normalizing sebaceous gland function, and neutralizing dandruff.

Mask for dry and damaged hair:

Apply argan oil to the hair before washing. If the scalp is oily, do not apply the oil to the roots but 6–7 cm away from them, carefully spreading it on the hair ends. Leave the mask on the hair for 40 minutes to an hour, covering the head with plastic wrap, a towel, and a cap, then wash the hair as usual (shampoo + conditioner).

Hair mask with argan oil:
Note: oil works best on hair when warm, so the head must be covered; you can also warm it slightly with a hairdryer to create a steam bath effect under the cap, but it is even better to use this mask in a bathhouse or sauna – the results will be best.
To achieve the desired effect, the hair mask can be applied 10 times in a row every 2–3 days. If this course does not solve all problems, it can be repeated after a 1.5–2 week break.

Body care:
Massage with argan oil for stretch mark prevention. Add 5–7 drops of essential neroli or mandarin oil to one tablespoon of argan oil, apply to problematic areas of the body skin, and massage until the oil is fully absorbed. Argan oil can be added to shower gel, shampoo, or bath – 7–8 drops for skin and hair hydration.

For hands and nails:
Hand massage with argan oil – add about 5 drops of oil to any hand cream and use it for massage. You can apply this mixture to your hands and leave it on overnight; in the morning, the skin will be soft, dryness and peeling will disappear, and it will become smooth.
Argan oil helps care for dull, damaged nails that break easily. Apply this oil to the cuticles and nails. For nail strengthening, you can use a mixture of argan oil and lemon juice in equal parts, resulting in strong and healthy nails.
